Greenfield Chambers was honoured to host the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum (YAAF) at our Abuja Office Complex on Wednesday, 18th June 2025.
This hybrid event, held both in person and online via Zoom, brought together the vibrant and diverse community of, young arbitrators, legal practitioners, law students, and other professionals, within Abuja and across the continent for insightful discussions on the practical aspects of international arbitration.
The event featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including: Isaiah Bozimo SAN; Agada Elachi SAN; Michael Numa SAN; Mrs. Diane Okoko; Mrs. Aisha Abdullahi; and Emokiniovo Dafe-Akpedeye.
These experts in international arbitration delivered thought-provoking insights on key issues that shape the future and competence of young arbitrators. Each session provided practical insights and guidance on essential arbitration skills for young arbitrators, including: drafting, advocacy, procedural integrity, and professional branding.
The afternoon served as a testament to the thriving arbitration community in Abuja, Nigeria, with enthusiastic engagement, thoughtful questions, valuable knowledge-sharing, and a vibrant networking session.
